Thieving postmen

Post by torman »

Everyday when i look at the latest news on this forum.There seems to be an increase in posties being caught thieving.Am totally peed off with thieves like them,giving honest hard working posties a bad name.And i don't give a monkey's if they have got money or drug problems.Thieving from our customers is a big no no. :no no

There are a few reasons why we're seeing all these stories, all the stories are now collected by Teebs from the internet and put into one place, it's a way of softening the public for privatisation (the only way to deal with all those thieving postmen is to get private enterprise in) and posties are made to feel worthless and because of that they may succumb to temptation and steal/hide mail on a regular basis.

There is also the Rowland Hill Trust if you work or worked for RM/PO and are having money difficulties. Its better to own up to having money problems and getting help no matter how embarassing than to end up in court.

BTW the trust helps in loads of other ways as well. http://www.rowlandhillfund.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Are you seriously suggesting that Teebs is helping to soften the Public up for Privatisation?!?!? :shock: :crazy: :no no :shock:
Or have I misread your post?

He collects as many News articles about Posties, both good and bad, as he can find. He's done so for a long time now. It's not HIS fault that the Press are reporting so many incidents. :arrrghhh

I wasn't blaming Teebs, I was pointing out that before this site pulled all the stories together you'd have to search for 'Posties stories' yourself, so now all the stories are here for everyone to read (just like I'm not blaming Google for showing me the stories if I search for them).

Not unique to Posties. High street retailers like M&S say most of their stolen stock is taken by staff not shop-lifters. Some people ae dishonest simple as.

That's true. It's only because you're in this job that such a fuss is made of it (and quite rightly so). There was always ALWAYS stuff being "borrowed" when I worked at a retail store and an awful lot stolen by shoplifters. It's amazing some of the tricks they use. I picked up a few tips :wink:
