PDA and Special Deliveries

I understand going back to it, i'd still scan it first time though, shows proof of atrtempt and saves the sender claiming there money back.

It's not your fault if they're delivered late after only being given to you 10 minutes prior.

Some places aren't actually open until AFTER 9 anyway so I don't know how they get on about claiming any money back if we use our common sense and attempt delivery when they are actually open.

we should be attempting delivery anyway regardless of whether they are normally open
not the 1st time ive seen people in specifically for a 9am
its a premium service and should be treated this way
im not having a go at the posties but the company as a whole as we have the same lethargy in our place

Yes I realise we should be attempting delivery anyway and personally I would just P739 it but some of the lads I work with will go back after 9 and they don't bother scanning it the first time. They see that as good customer service and the people they deliver to agree.

I'll bet the customer who sends it likes it too..

I'm sure they do! lol

And I'd scan it first time too but it's a struggle gettin them to take the PDAs in the first place nevermind scanning with them too...

I hear others in my office moan about the pda's, I don't know what all the fuss is about, bar one day when mine completely packed in I think they are so much easier than shaby bits of paper.

every day we go through the same hassle just getting them to manage to log in
as i say to them,you know those monkeys that made it into space in the 60's?

The PDA'S are crap they freeze up the customers cannot use them and the competition has better like FED EX according to one of my customers!.

Like any new technology there are bound to be glitches and the software isn't all that it should be. I am not altogether sure that the old system and the new are totally integrated. The PDAs are temperamental a bit like the old blue screen of death on the old 386s - if you looked at it funny it died the death. It is easy enough to do a warm boot and unless you have all the duty data with you then you shouldn't cold boot - I think they are well worth perseverance and patience, they will get better.
