Advice on my wife may have to hysterectomy
Hi i work full time and have 2 children under 5 years old , my wife may be taken in for a hysterectomy and wanted some advice on what or if im entitled to time off as i need to be home for a a while , thankyou

could you not apply to take some of your holidays early? much as it pains me to say nice things about R/M management,
they have allowed me to do this at times of family illness, good Luck.

my wife had a hysterectomy 5 years ago, i had a day off to take her to hospital and a week off on her discharge.
ALL ON FULL PAY NOT AS HOLIDAY !!!!! SPECIAL LEAVE.
YEARS AGO SOME MANAGERS WERE OK!!!

you are allowed some time off, but payment is at the Managers discretion.

YEARS AGO SOME MANAGERS WERE OK!!!Add to that a law that was introduced in November of I think '99 which makes provision for instances such as this.
you are allowed some time off, but payment is at the Managers discretion.
