impressive quality of service

well on Tuesday night i got whacked in the eye at my martial arts class
yesterday it hurt like a bitch but i went in and had a misserable day with blurred vision & pain
driving home i struggled and had to pull over a few times :d'oh!
so this morning its no better and i phoned in sick
got myself an SD letter from work a mere 5 hours later
i dont even live in the same delivery area as my DO!!!

I was slaging off DOM's and the SD service in the other thread,i guess they're s**t hot up your way :left:
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

bet they still failed a rural 9am SD and forgot to cover a walk as they did my letter ;)

It's been happening in my DO for a couple of years now, 1st special on day one letting you know the required attendence standards and telling you to be available to be contacted and the 2nd one a few days later asking you in for a meeting.
