NO WAY Pay enough as it is, everytime ive asked for help of a union rep they say
"see me later" Do you notice though they always seem to have the best jobs in the office?
Anytime ive needed a rep ive gone in on my own stand up for myself. Not slagging of reps,
some do a good job but some just take for themselves, ie (overtime) SORRY if it offends anyone.

Cancelled my subs,it seems if the union can get publicity on a national scale there interested, but on a local level you
may aswell not exist, they've just sacked a guy in our office after 19 years, union should be ashamed and remind RM about SDD agreement(allowances for anyone over 50)but seems management can use the stage rule selectively to decide who stays and who goes.
do yourself a favour and save yourself £140/YEAR.

Its the same with every thing good managers, bad managers, good postperson, bad postperson, good customers, bad customers, every ones choice if they want to be in the union or not,in my experience the union has done a goog job over the years and are well worth the money i pay, i would not like to even think about what it would be like to work in royal mail with out the c.w.u. there looking after our interests
.Royal mail would take the right piss believe me.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
