4hr duties on a 5 day week is a no,no.
We're on 4hrs,but we're on a 4 day week, the time off is a good carrot and worth it,the bad days are wed/thur/fri,the rest of the days are ok,but we've a long sat.
But like i said the time off is a good carrot and the longer walks are worth it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Its easy when your lead by an arrogant, egotistical, self congratulating, overpaid, anti union, ivory tower resident.disgruntledpostie1 wrote:Can they really be so stupid as to think we'll not see what they're doing.
They know exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it, and it has nothing to do with making Royal Mail a good place to work that provides a vital service to the public.
IMHO its a not very subtle way to push down our T&Cs, break the CWU and force the militant amongst us out so that they can impose a pay freeze and more stringent and enforceable flexibility regime.
