We've got a meeting on Monday to discuss hours of work for when we get a third walk sequencing machine.
They're proposing 10 hour shifts (Midnight - 10 am) with 5 people to run 3 machines.
We've been told that this is the norm for sequencing around the country.
Can we believe them ? Please help someone, this is getting critical now
Thanks

Re: Walk Sequencing issues - Urgent
When we were told we were getting one (although it's still not materialised) we were told it would be more or less those hours it would be run as there were issues raised by the posties that they would have to work with the noise of the machine all morning.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
