Pouching off.

Post by mclovin »

In our office we still work by a job and finish rule, ie get the job done as soon as and get home to put feet up.

Never once since all this pegasus/geo-route??? implementation have we taken a break before starting delivery, no-one out of around 50 people.

So my question is, as our final letter is 13.55, what time is the cut off to pouch off any items that couldnt be delivered?

if you are full time you take away 40 mins plus 15 min for pouching off this leaves your last letter time, if you are part time you take whatever your break is plus 15 min pouch off and that is your last letter

Our manager tried that, got union rep involved who pointed out the agreed time is 15 mins, manager backed down.

Maximum outdoor working is 4hours - 15mins travel time / 3 1/2 hr delivery / 15mins pouch off time

If the nearest PO is further than 15mins or your travel to the delivery is more 15mins then this comes off the delivery time and NOT the indoor working
CUT OFF!!!

interesting!

So is it a minimum of 15M then, as the nearest PO on my round is a 25 min bike ride. Also, it takes almost 30 mins to get to my drop off point in the morning. Judging by what you say I do not have a lot of actual delivery time left! :d'oh!

I predict a cut-off :nana
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Yes my post office is close to my last letter aswell, But you also have to take into account the long queue in the post Office if you need a signature which can take upto 10 minutes to go down.
