I had a manager pull me aside and tell me that I couldn't get a cup of coffee and bring it back to the frame.

I only ever went for my coffee when I was ready to go through the redirections, take care of the deads and bundle up.

I pointedley asked her if I was allowed to go to the toilet before the driver had the bags, she reluctantly decided that toilet breaks were a H&S issue and couldn't be banned.

The rest of the week one of the lads around the depot would bring me a cup of coffee to the frame (she couldn't complain about that as I didn't go to get the coffee myself)

Do you not think that there should be a rule that when a Manager/Manageress talks bollox we should be able to give them a f***ing slap
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Just ask them to show you the conduct code, where it says you can't have a cuppa at your frame. Then if they do bring the conduct code over, start going through it with a fine tooth comb picking up on anything they are embelleshing on.

Bastards will start making you a brew themselves.

But he takes less photos of me coming out of the toilet.
