It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It was a bit sh*t today, no mech till 5:30 & soon as it was thrown out, rurals were called up for Waste of Time, we have to Listen, they don't Learn ( as a part timer, I know I don't have to go, but I want to take part - more fool me ) & we got 2 videos, one of Crozier gobbing off & another about walk sequencing, new double decker trailers & uniforms, so I didn't get out till I was an hour behind, & then I had my D2Ds to prep when I got back & when I did leave, instead of a nice clear drive down the A25 & A20 I was stuck behind an RM class 2, doing no more than 40-ish all the way ( it's mostly national speed limit ), oh well, s**t happens. :roll:

perhaps we could look at starting a campaign for a "do the job properly on 25th June" day, at all offices. . . . . . . .anyone got any ideas on how to go about it

I think the lead time is too short to do a proper campaign - why not mid to late September? Just picking a time at random BTW.

Went in today and worked my rest day,picked up a different walk as r/day cover on mine,we now get 8hours but no i.p.s.,i finished 10 mins before duty time finished,and will tell my d.o.m. that any less hourage will mean protraction or work bought back.

any suggestions on do your job properly day pass onto your rep for discussion as the screws have a document out at the moment called "handling industrial action" its intresting reading. it contains screws interpretation of working to rule (Dont ask how i got it !!!) :Very Happy

Any chance of you being able to put the details on here somewhere?

It could be funny to see what their interpretation of WTR is.

Just doing your job properly is not WTR as we all know but they tend to have their own interpretation.
