TNT are playing for time, :mfo will get his own way, TNT will get part of RM we will be forced to carry their mail for even less, their letter carrier will go, our drivers will be forced into 7.5 tonners, so we can deliver the most of their business and domestic parcels, so half their parcel delivery people will go to.

Have a look at http://www.cwu.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and you may be proved wrong.
The one issue dominating the Union's activity at the moment is campaigning against plans to sell off Royal Mail.
The Union is an easy target I know - but the reality is different!

remind workers and public alike of what is going on--and why, so far, have the Unions not reassured the workers,
individually, or en-mass that there will be no sell-off for definate. I still say, this a done deal, brought about in part by
the Unions allowing, over the past few years, these constant changes to take place. They know full well what the
future holds, and most of the campaigning is too little too late, and very much an empty gesture. I do apologise to
all good reps, and Unionists everywhere, but time foe a change at the top. I think, so we can believe in them again.

Re: Postman Nostradamus
The campaign has been aimed at securing the support of enough Labour MPs to EDM 428 in order to put pressure on the Government to abandon Mandelson's dogmatic plans to sell off Royal Mail.
The Union could easily assure the workers of no sell off - easy words but not within their power to enforce. The reality is only the Government can give that assurance and at present that isn't thier position. Hence the campaign to change it.
Have you and everyone else who opposes Mandelson's plans done their bit?
Have you written to your MP?
Have you signed the online petition to No 10?
One final point - by the time any changes are made "at the top" - this whole issue will be decided, once and for all, and our future's with it!
