DHL in Smiths

Post by Spedley »

I saw a DHL 'stall' in W.H.Smiths today. All you do is put your stuff in a DHL box and 'post' it.

I didn't see one Post Office in the whole 2 hours I spend in town.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It seems like a smart move to me. I can't see why W.H.Smiths should have any allegiance to Royal Mail and in the absence of a Post Office it seems they are providing a valuabe service. And on the other side, I'm sure they also sell stamps.

I really think that the closure of Post Offices could back fire and hurt RM even more than they say it is now.

Maybe, but I doubt if it will be long before W H Smiths goes the same way as Woolworths. :Very Happy
