£400 of the potential ColleagueShares dividend payment will be made in April 2008 to offices which have completed their deployment of the agreed unit plan in Phase 2 of the modernisation process.
The remaining potential dividend payment from ColleagueShares scheme over this year and next, split as follows:
£400 for achievement of Group profit in 2007/08
£200 for achievement of the local target for 2008/09. £200 for achievement of Group profit in 2008/09
Should be £200.00
So we get less than last year but with bigger profits
The whole scheme will look rather silly if we hit group target but lots of units fail to hit their local target.
The whole scheme is doing what it set out too do take money away from postmen/women as every saving for royalmail is to our long term loss!. Well they are down to the last can of tinned carrot's i would rather starve than chase the manky carrot on the ever lengthening pole!.
When in the past our office came in the top three for performance, we never got a bonus because we were told that too much money was being spent to achieve it. Then they cut loads of duty's so that we could no longer get the work done. Yes , you guessed it. Now there is no bonus because we never hit the targets. A case of heads they win etc-
Spoke to my DOM this morning no hope of getting the local £200 in my office as were around 200 hours over budget every week and the powers that be want him to make a 3% saving as well as cutting out the 200 hours we are over.

I could almost guarantee that there is not a single delivery office in the land that has not been run on overtime in the last ten years - the reason that overtime is rife is that former full time duties are now part time duties but working more hours than contracted for. How has that come about? Well reps have been agreeing to reduced hours and we have had buy down of hours which is an agreed practice and now they are trying to do away with the overtime which is by and large a product of the system.
