Delivery distance calculator

Post by Viewfindergeneral »

Ever wondered how long your delivery was? Now you can calculate the exact distance you travel in a day.
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This should settle a few arguments in your office about who`s got the biggest delivery!
Mine comes out at over nine miles including when I have to return to my office to collect my extra pouches. Don`t forget that on top your total travelling distance you can add the length of paths and driveways you have to walk up to properties. That must be another mile or two.

It will be food for thought for our managers when we can tell THEM how far we travel in a day.

:nana I wore a pedometer every day for months, and my walk averaged out at 12 miles (before geo-route)

Is that a full-time duty? Mine is thirty hours (at least according to the management!)

:nana They always covieniently forget to add on all the 'hidden' walking, don't they? Many doors have several steps up to them,and i am sure(from my own calculations) they somehow'forget 'to regonise you go up and DOWN the pathways-
add on the few minutes to re-fill pouches,and all the other daily detours you often have to make, (Dodging mad dogs)
people asking if you can go to the back door because they have no key ,and hey--thats another mile on the walk.!!!!
