RM sick pay entitlement
can anyone advise me what royal mail sick pay entitlement is. my wife gets 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay in any 12 month period. just wondered how this compared to other government bodies...................

I think that if you have an A.O.D. and get it registered with the DWP then you get 1 years full pay.
Can anyone confirm that,or have i got that wrong.

That's right based over a 12 month period. If you have 12 months off in a 4 year period then you go down to no pay or sick pay at pension rate (depending on pension contributions).POSTMAN wrote:I'm sure it's 6 months full pay,6 months half pay.

I had an accident at work,you get six months full pay, and six months half,but during the half pay period.providing it has been registered and recognised thar it was an A.O.D. you should get Incapacity bensfir too, although some changes came into effect in October, so maybe the Benefit entitlement is now different.
