this may sound strange

Post by exaandt »

this may sound strange but went out on rural delivery this morning and got to a blacksmiths ( they always have mail) and had no mail ,then next door is a b&b (who also run a company and get lots of mail) and had no mail am trying like mad to remember which of the following could have happened ?
A. Lost a bundle
B. Left bundle in frame
C. Had no mail for either
If A. is correct then dont know how as it would have been in back of van,so i dont think so.
If B is corrcet then when i got back to office why was there no mail in frame.
If C then why cant i remember not having any mail for these calls as always have mail for them.
I am now worried in case i did leave mail in frame and a manager has taken it out,if so can i reason and say i came back and as mail was not there i could not go back out and deliver it?
There are no managers in my office after 12 on a saturday so will have to wait until monday to find out
If they have taken it out of the frame what can they do about it can they disapline me?
Any help please

If your manager has removed it from your frame, dont let him call it 'wilful delay'. Insist it was 'accidental delay'. Not as serious a penalty.
Just spilt stain-remover down my shirt. Now how do I get that out?

Just remember: We're all Human, and inevitably make mistakes. So long as this is an isolated incident, I wouldn't get too upset about it.

I hope it all works out ok. Let us know how you get on.

Did they come to collect their mail whilst you were away from your frame?.
Noticed that your posting was on a Saturday and we have a few businesses that collect their mail early esp Saturday.

hello just to let you all know seems that the bundle of mail must have been either delivered wrongly or put in dead tray as it went through the system and turned up back at my frame this morning ( not as a bundle but as normal trayed mail) so i dont know where it went only that i delivered it this morning without any mangement hassle. Thanks for all responces.
