Has anyone heard about Saturday Attendance times being changed nationally? We are being asked to change our times from 05.30 - 12.30 to 07.15 - 14.15

not heard anything, all news to me ,although if they are asking you to change your times and you don't wish to say no.
Go through the IR Framework up to stage 3 with the div rep, at least that way HQ would find out about it.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP

:nana I hope everyone in your office says no--this is just the start of yet another savage change to your contract,
what is your rep saying about this--is he like ours and suggests you accept beacause---save jobs-- etc etc etc, all through these changes, some reps seem to be more on the side of the Managment, urging us to accept everything that R.M. fling at us.

That would go against the pay and modernization agreement of 2007 and as such why should you all abide by the term's of a failed/broken agreement!.

Well why the hell are they agreeing to do so is their union rep selling them out or are they not up for the fight which will soon be all ours!. Maybe our hardest fight of our rights so far is in this time it is not a fight for those faint of heart or lacking in moral fiber!. But for those who hold decency and comradely and steadfastness in their heart's and souls it will not be easy for any of us all!. But together we must all stand as one and all.

I think you will find this comes under the Longs and Shorts. In my office times have been changed to
Mondays / Tuesdays 6:30 - 14:15
Wednesdays / Thursdays 6:15 - 14:15
Fridays 5:30 - 14:15
Saturdays 5:45 - 13:30.
Area CWU rep knows about changes but says.... Flexibilty agreement!!

Did you actually read the thread. It's got nothing to do with flexibility they have refused to comply so RM are forcing it on them with Executive Action. The Reps and the Area Branch have been fighting it,not agreeing it and this is the outcome. Also if you read the National Agreement you will see that it says Start Times will be between 05:30 & 06:30 but they are being forced to start at 07:00.Since this post i have also found out that some of the mail that comes by Air will now be coming in Approx 50 minutes later, And by the summer there is a good chance they are going to be forced to start between 08:00 & 08:30.
We need a plan of action to put a stop to this sort of thing NOW the time for the Union Executive to stop talking and bring in a coordinated plan has never been as Imperative as it is now,Mark my word's RM are breaking us apart area by area and soon there will be nothing left to fight for, The jobs that are lost, The mail centrers that are closed, The start times, the working conditions, employment security, Full Times jobs now Part Time, all of this will never come back. Once it gone, its gone for good!.So our choice is simple, let them pick us off one by one or stand together and fight back,

Was told by DIM that even if we went to disagreement its still going to happen. WTF. Think the area Rep needs to hear of it. Also was told its to be a National Roll out at the beginning of April?
