Over the years they have added another 3 new housing devolpements in the same area. Problem is now all the houses are finished it's went from a 2 and a bit hour duty with packets to a 6.5 hour duty plus the packets ( average 3-4 letters per house and they all shop on the internet) 8 -9 drop bags a day plus the bigger packets that don't fit in the drop bags. Managment thought that if it's lapsed then it would leave me with a sub 3.5 hour duty which would give me time to do the packets without overtime. Problem is it needs to be really quiet for everyone to take thier lapsing in which case I usually end up doing packets in the surrounding duties to take me up to time ( no permament packet delivery people in our office usually done in overtime). If it's not really quiet then I'm left with most of it. I totally agree that the folk sprinting round or on really quiet duties are in for a shock when the revisions come through but it's always the same ones who get away with it :nana Quite right, the same ones all the time---and they still get off with it I know some people who finish for 10.30 every day, and when people object nothing seems to be done--the favoured few must have something we do not!! and have done for years. In my mind if you're a manager and you see someone finishing this early then you have to ask questions and if required change the duty to give them more to get them nearer there finish time. Like everything else they aren't changing it till the revisions come in. I have to say most posties in our office are struggling with thier duties and it's the minority that are finishing early but obvoiusly that reflects on the whole office.
