Postal deliveries in a Bradford street have been resumed following a dog attack.
Householders in Penfield Grove, Clayton, were incensed when they were told they would have to pick up their mail from a sorting office in Thornton Road.
Royal Mail sent residents a letter stating that a postal worker had been attacked and that since December deliveries had been carried out by a Royal Mail manager.
But tonight a Royal Mail spokesman said: “We have resumed deliveries in Penfield Grove as we are now satisfied the dog has been secured and it is safe for our staff.
“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused during this temporary delivery suspension.”
