Fine words but this is NEW labour and integrity isnt a word that goes with them, and honesty even less. Plus Gordon is a bit skint right now so will be glad to get RM off his hands.

Yep. The majority of the great British public want just one Postal Service, that is Royal Mail. We dont want competiton. Royal Mail can make a nice profit but only if it is a Monopoly/near- Monopoly, otherwise how else is it gunna subsidise the USO?

After hearing that RM made a nice profit in the 9 months compared to the previous 12 month period, i was astonished quite frankly, Leighton & Crozier should be issued with their P45s without delay.

monopoly, isnt the issue, its about zonal pricing, why should the big citys subsidise orkney, shetlands, aberdeen ,inverness, this is politics, either way i dont mind,we are a political football, with baggage,,forget monopily, thats history, uso, forget that, private investors dont care about service, its about profit, dividends, that matter, unions bah humbug, liberisation was the downfall ,new labour had an egotistical leader who was quite happy to see thatcher beaten by the cwu,it allowed labour to govern, they gambled, enter the free market, invest, buy foreign competitors,it went wrong,in power they inheritated pension/liberisation,and have come unstuck, now its damage limitation, get rid of royal mail, before new labour are exposed as incompetent.tony drove the european agenda,he is doing fine, bless him,the country, royal mail, cwu, will pay the price for pro european egos. :Applause :chuckle :no no
