A quick question regarding parking at Gatwick
I have been told my my DOM that he believes Royal Mail employees can park at the RM depot at Gatwick for free when they go on holiday. Has anyone done this, is it true and if it is, does anyone have a number or webpage etc.

Why should people who live in a certain area get additional benefits? I'm sure all us who live out in the sticks would like heavily subsidised holiday parking.

Yes he is an ungrateful wretch - why only last week I had to pay 60p for 10 minutes parking to go and buy a birthday card for my good lady wife - I could have gone to Gatwick and parked for free and maybe picked up a little perfume at the duty free - course it would have taken me four hours to get there, four hours to get back and 45 minutes trying to understand what some cockney berk was trying to say.celerycelery wrote:What you on about? Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

You see people who live in the North have a sense of humour - we need it. There is a North/South divide - you only have to look at the news on BBC - 2 inches of snow in Dagenham is a major catastrophe - 4 feet of snow in Derbyshire and they're showing kids toboganning down hills.
