TRAFFIC RE-EGINEERING

Post by johnnyp »

This is another scheme management have come up with and is 1 of the reasons why they plan to remove nights from delivery offices. Its all about every thing being done at the mail centre all the W.L.A. tasks + more mech work will be done then every thing sent down in trays + packets in sleeve less yorks, resulting in no more cutting and tipping in the office, they say that traffic figures differ from when they leave the mail centre by u p to20% by the time W.L.A is done in the delivery office.Have you heard about this postman and what are your thoughts?

This carries on from my 'Have your nights completley gone...' post,it's all fine and dandy having everything done and there will obviously still be some kind of sorting to be done.
And research shows that our prepping will go down by 30mins,without missorts and f**k ups mind you
But who's gonna let these guys in if there's no nights!!!

Lol I edited the title

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re-engineering has been agreed.HOWEVER its only the cut & tipping bit.Not a wholesale cut.Re-deployment/and or phase 2 of this HAS TO HAVE FULL CONSULTATION OF THE UNION REP!
