"united" we stand and "divided" we fall
the lastest from r/mail seems to be to try and allienate local offices by bringing in local agreements against national agreements,ie 4 1/2 hr delivery's etc
. i agree that some national agreements have made me wonder what goes on at high cwu level
,but the simple answer is united we stand and divided we fall,DO we really believe that local and area reps know better than national exec's?

......me personally ..i won't get invoved in anything that has not been sanctioned by the top brass in the cwu...its not rocket science lads n lasses

"First they came...": Post Office version
Could we have a Post Office equivalent written by someone? It might start like this:majeed wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_they_came
"...First they came for the spare men, but I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a spare man... Next they came for the PHG's, but I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a PHG... Then, they came for the full-timers, but I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a full-timer...Then, they came for the union reps, but I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a union rep..." and so on...
any improvements?

"In Royal Mail they came first for the Delivery Posties, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Delivery Postie;
And then they came for the Union Rep, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;
And then they came for Processing Posties, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Postie in Processing
And then . . . they came for Mangers . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up."
