Heard that managers are being told to restructure prep time to incorporate 2 people throwing off 3 deliveries with the 3rd person doing IPS all morning.
Surely this is impossible without walk sequencing machines of which there are none at my MC?
Anyone heard anything about this?

How can one prep a 700 drop walk AND half another 700 drop walk in 2.5 hours? We struggle to get out on time as it is on heavy days. Seems a bit weird they would gamble with this to be honest.

this happens every day with multiple walks
if 1 can put up 2 walks then why not 2 put up 3?

Herein lies the problem with our current Job and Finish stupidity.pickaname wrote:How can one prep a 700 drop walk AND half another 700 drop walk in 2.5 hours?
What makes you think you should have to do it in 2.5 hours?
Okay here's what I mean; You say that you've got a set 3.5 hour delivery, and a 2.5 hour Prep, yet you're getting paid for an average 8 hours! Even with time for breaks etc. your basically saying that you're taking over 1.33 hours pay every day for no work.
...or am I seeing it wrong!

Sorry i didnt include d2ds prep, bag/tie up, waiting at the specials locker etc etc...I was merely counting the time allocated to throwing off the mail into the frame which is approx 2.5 here. Apologies...
