what time is the earliest we can knock ?

What time can we knock on a customers door with a parcel ? As our lino says that we can knock after 7am....I always thought it was after 7.30am.
He only does this because the rurals are late going out, so he has vans spare for town parcel deliveries.

Its is 7am but its a ridiculous time to be knocking on a door in my opinion. Did it over christmas and found it took up to 10 mins for people to get to the door. I reckon it should be 7.30am. This is the time alot of famillies are up getting kids ready for school etc.

Back in the good old days we weren't allowed to leave the office until 6:45am to allow us 15mins to get to our delivery for the earliest delivery time of 7am.

The thing is the new BT contract will have us all too deliver (redelivery's) in between 7.00am to 7.45am!. Soon
