Re: what is expected?
I'm always amazed by the "when I joined" comments we get on here. It's like saying "well I got s**t training and so should you" >That's bollocks. A new recruit should be on the same round for at least 6 weeks up to 13 weeks. It says that in the AGREED training programme designed to help new recruits not leave after 5 minutes. I said it on another posting. THERE SHOULD BE A COACH IN EACH OFFICE BEING PAID TO MAKE SURE NEW RECRUITS ARE PROPERLY TRAINED. It is the coach's job to make sure the training is adequate and as laid down. If they can't be bothered then they are taking money under false pretences and should be replaced.
I don't know what office you are in Mosadler but it can't be very good. Your treatment would not be tolerated in my office at least not while i'm still CWU rep. ( not the coach )

I thought a fellow blue shirt was supposed to be coach?
Havent got a coach in my office. RM trying to expand the role to include training for current staff rather than just looking after new recruits whilst they settle in.

Re: what is expected?
Sounds to me, and it is only my opinion, that someone has seen the writing on the wall for Management Grades and is attempting a bit of empire building. Training of current and established employees is surely an ongoing Management role anyway, why try to absorb it into new employees training unless there is a strategic reason.Big Daz wrote:I thought a fellow blue shirt was supposed to be coach?
