I think a higher basic pay is usualy better, however Pegasus seems to be making it impossible to finish before your time which means either overtime or not completing. I think this changes it a bit and no pay rise this year but time+half for excess would change ther plans somewhat. At least, that is what I'd barter for.

not sure about the rate I thought it was about time and a 1/4 - but you also have to remember that the rate drops once you have done 10 hours OT (so drops when you have done 50 hours) apparently it was something the Union wanted to discourage people working excessive OT.
As they were short staffed I worked my long weekend, i.e. 8 hours Saturday and 8 hours Monday, but even though those two days are in separate weeks they are on the same pay statemant such that 6 of the 16 hours has been paid £1.02 an hour less as 'over 10 hours' rate, so is the pay week not calculated as Monday to Saturday ?
just stop doing the OT and that way they never do any of their little tricks :mad
A nice idea, but I've got several days pay to make up from the strikes the autumn before last,

OT is done monday-sunday, at least in our office. I would assume this would be the same everywhere.

Forget O/T!!! Concentrate on your 40 hours FIRST!!
