Re: Predictions for 2009
I just hope we don't become a 1/3 dynamite forum.
However 3 predictions:
1. Hooper will be defeated but will return in a watered down form.
2. Pensions will continue to be a theme throughout the year even when the Government take over the assets of the pension and of course the deficit.
3. There will be a series of national, regional and local strikes or at least some form of Industrial Action over closures, pensions and Hooper.

Re: Predictions for 2009
The only issue I can see with hooper is the ownership issue, other than that its full of some good stuff.
Forget about the hooper recomendations and look at the factual issues hooper has raised and lets concentrate on alternative recomendations.
