Royal Mail down here say you have to deliver all your mail everyday, no cutting off and stuff. Hence over xmas we had people finishing at 4 in the afternoon easily . Every piece of mail has to be delivered. And also i'm a casual, i get paid £5.95 an hour

Bog standard RM management bullying tactics - they must go on courses to learn how to come out with this crap because they all say the same! Had the same bullsh told to me earlier in year - I just stood my ground until they gave in and even with the reduced amount to deliver I still went over by 15mins, which I booked of course - just to wind the bastards up some more!!! Mind you I'm FT not casual so I'm guessing they try and take the pish out of casuals even more.


85 redirections is impressive, I thought I was hard done by a few years ago when I had 20-odd..

Oh ye, before I forget, I've been doing 3.5-4hrs this last month or so..

Excellent! Slave!!! I myself a while back a year or so would have never dreamed of not complete my duty, i always felt i had a loyalty to my customers.

Now i have learned to stand my ground so much more than I would of ever had the courage to do, i no longer worry as much what people think and I put my own health and well-being first!! And it is thanks to my great union rep who has helped me along the way with hard times that i have faced, but we always remain true and honest to ourselves and we will always come out much better at the other end.
