Todays WTL!!

Post by Digger1975 »

Had our usual WTL today and during todays we were handed forms regarding our preferences as towards evr, buy downs, moving to another office, staying in present office and 1 other which i cant remember!!! Basically we had to put from 1 to 4 in order of importance to us ie 1 being most important and 4 being least. We were told these forms were non comittal and not binding but our dom reckons it could be aimed towards total duty restructures (removing sats amongst them). Has anyone else received these forms as well?

Snow is cold;ice can be slippery ;you can trip over stuff in the dark; and best practice dictates that at no time should you attempt to headbutt wind blown concrete rooftiles. Not much about not running and jumping walls in an effort to complete a 4hr. walk in 3.5hrs though :hmmmm

Our WTL session this week we got a info pack about healthy eating, and drinking etc.... RM in conjunction with NHS. Sorted we can now do 4/5hour deliveries with over weight bags, no breaks, use our own cars. Don't think so!!!! I eat healthily, barely drink and do the job right and its killing me. Why can't RM do something about it instead of propaganda that’s another was of time and resources.

We had this in London, but it was in letter form sent to our home addresses, seems they are testing the water.
No doubt if enough ask for EVR they will present the findings to the CWU.
But what will be left of those who dont want to go!!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

We had these a few months back and a few people have taken up the offer. We basically had it because our office is about £40k overspent so far this year

It's unusual for CCTV to be in full record mode, it's usually in time lapse unless you need full record for a reason (ie. you suspect someone is stealing) which leads me to believe that this was faked. Anyway, I'd rather someone took out their anger/frustrations on objects rather than people but I would suspect that most of us would rather aim our anger/frustration against a person (DOMs and linos).
