ROYAL MAIL has released a statement following rumours that the Harrogate Post Office depot was to shed 600 man hours - 15 jobs - in January.
There were also concerns that experienced staff were being moved to new routes.
A spokeperson for Royal Mail said: "We are always looking at ways of improving efficiency in our delivery offices but we have no immediate plans to make changes to Harrogate."

I don't know why they don't just tell the truth
