i do a floating duty and one person i work next to keeps accusing me of mis-sorting his post and i have never touched it! he goes mental and starts shouting at me, what can i do about this? every time he finds a mis-sort out on delivery he thinks its my fault! he has gone abit crazy i told him today that for all the false accusations that he has made his mail is going to be mis sorted!

Re: crazy person i work with...
2 Things you can and I would do both.
1. Go to the rep and report what is happening and say you want to speak to the Manager.
2. Go with your rep to the Manager and explain what is happening. He should then keep an eye on the situation and address it of needed.
There is a third thing - do not respond to his accusations directly, it will only exacerbate the situation and could lead to you being disciplined - especially if you do start deliberately missorting his duty.

if it was me i would ask him what is problem is
not in a nasty way just in general.

Are you throwing in his frame? if not what's the problem? if so stop it!
One of the best things about our job is that we all know where each other live, so if you don't trust the Management to deal with it you can easily sort it out, 'off duty'!

i work on the frame next to his, don't chuck off his post and have no reason to touch his mail or frame! he is just paranoid!
to get him back im gonna tell his little buddy " he's gonna go mental when he finds out what I've done" but i won't do anything! i think that will make him crack...

Does this not go down as a case of bullying, if so tell him to stop with a witness with you then go and report him? if that doesn't work.use this :cfo

I've noticed a trend in RM and it's
Ex-employee > Postman > Alcoholic > Nut house.
It seems he's on the final sage.

Re: crazy person i work with...
I'd have a word with the manager initially as that sort of behaviour on the floor is unacceptable (D.R.A.W. anyone?!)
If the situation doesn't improve or bugger all happens then you should file a grievance under bullying and harassment. I was told RM have a zero tolerance on such matters...
