A normal day is about 150 but we're about triple that this Christmas (10 just for me today).

And exprect it to be worse tomorrow with people trying to get presents in time for Christmas.

lightening the load booklet says 8 specials max for delivery postman,(i m sure i read) but today, manager bullshitted some folk into takung more than a dozen wi them.

It depends on what kind of specials they are, the high value ones are only 3, but that said I firmly believe that all specials should be taken out by the van men.

I think a lot depends on how big your office is, mine covers about 20,000 aps and has 30 odd duties.

ours had over 1000 for 69 rounds. 1 person had 2 hours to allocate them but he didnt use the gun at all he just gave them to us and zapped all the barcodes in when we got back.

We had just short of 2000 at Cambridge DO this morning. Only 1 delivery out of nearly 150 had no specials today!

Loads arriving from abroad today, especially USA. Obviously people realising it might be the
only way their Xmas greeting/present might get there before Xmas Day. So you will probably
get a lot tomorrow as well.
