Did your Callers Office open Sunday?

Post by Stormproof »

The Callers office at my DO opened yesterday from 2pm-6pm with 3 managers doing the job, they had a total of 6 customers. Why so few you ask, probably because the DOM did'nt want the Xmas P739's used and it was'nt advertised    What a waste of money!!
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Yep we did open ours as well, could'nt believe what the silly managers did, they gave 3 packet chaps 2hrs to do redelivery's,they then went and emptied the callers of packets the staff then had to sort them then go out and deliver that all in 2 hrs they then bought all of it back cause they run out of time and left the stuff in york's all in different place's in the office so when the callers opened and joe public came in could'nt find the packet that's when they discovered that the packets had been taken out and left elsewhere in the office so the queue was getting bigger, 1 member of staff had to find the packets unload them to find the ones that the customers had come in for.Talk about a cock up and guess what the manager had gone while all of this was going on,when the staff were asked today how did it go yesterday and they explained the managers answer was oh i did'nt think there would be that many in.Why are they payed to be managers they could'nt manage a paper bag.

Ours did. And we had a crew doing the ips, including myself. Also had a crew doing parcels, as they have done for the last few weeks.
