Today a journo from The Times went out on a delivery in South West London and will publish an article in tomorrows edition about his experience.He went from start to finish and was shocked at what a delivery walk entailed.He was even more shocked when told that IPS and prep are also part of the routine,Walk Faster Royal Mail

cheers for that information.hopefully it will highlight the diminishing service which is being held together by postpersons loyalty.it is great to have the heavyweight broadsheets covering this and hopefully the sun or mirror will follow .

Actually looks like the journos are jumping on this story all over the country which is good news. Quite a few good stories on our side in the News section.

Yeah, most of them are knackered after just following us without all the bending over that we end up doing.

I often get asked do I just go in and pick up a bag to go out on delivery.

I dunno where they get that from, I tell them that we had to prepare our own delivery.

i think they base it on postman pat and that includes the media as well.
