This is the single reason why RM want PT contracts - its cheaper for them on week you are not working and they don't have to pay as much in bonuses. Its unfair and its going to get worse with TNT on boardUp Hill Down Hill wrote:I've worked Full Time all year but on a Part Time contract + Overtime each week so my week off = PT. Week on = FT. Bonus = PT, I thought it said if you'd worked Full Time around christmas it would be FT bonus? It's made me £40 extra after tax.

The only way to stop that is to stop doing any OT and that means EVERYONE stopping it, that way RM will eventually bend and give everybody the contracts the need to live on.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:This is the single reason why RM want PT contracts - its cheaper for them on week you are not working and they don't have to pay as much in bonuses. Unless you have a contract, either permenant or temporary, for 40 hours then you won't get the full supplement (it's a little bit of deception that they like to use).

Sorry to tell you too late but you need to arrange a temporary full time contract for part timers as part of the local christmas agreement to get the full hundred otherwise you get it as part time hours, overtime doesn't count, next year get yer rep tp arrange this or tell the manager you ain't working over your contracted hoursI've worked Full Time all year but on a Part Time contract + Overtime each week so my week off = PT. Week on = FT. Bonus = PT, I thought it said if you'd worked Full Time around christmas it would be FT bonus? It's made me £40 extra after tax.

Well I am defiantly going to have a word as I have worked my ass of this Christmas and I was under the impression I was getting paid the full £100, it seems I have being tricked or being misinformed somewhere down the line, £60 is nothing for the 2 week Christmas pressure period for the hours and effort I have put in :(

If they fob you off use grivence procedure if it goes to stage 2 you can get an area rep involved and your argument is good based on the fact you have worked full time over christmas and should be treated fairly and without discriminationWell I am defiantly going to have a word as I have worked my ass of this Christmas and I was under the impression I was getting paid the full £100, it seems I have being tricked or being misinformed somewhere down the line, £60 is nothing for the 2 week Christmas pressure period for the hours and effort I have put in :(

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Look on the bright side you've been paid for the overtime you've done PLUS you get the bonus pro rata too so all in all you are better off.fothsn wrote:AndyK wrote:try putting in a grievence you might get somewhere worth a try.Oh wow now that bit of paper we have on our board is very very misleading then
