The CWU have to pull the plug on the Labour Party

Post by shaunman »

I am disgusted with what I am reading today, A Labour government wanting privatisation!!!!! I have decided that if the Cwu do not pull support of the Labour party by new year, i will be withdrawing my funding of the union! This is going to create massive job losses in mcs, and transport. If we don't do something about it now it will be too late. I work in a DO but can see the effects it will cause. I call on all of you to do the same. Enough is enough. :no no

Hear Hear...... :Applause :Applause did you see Hayes and Joyce on the TV today, they looked tired and dis-interested? There was no mantra like "we will oppose any form of privatisation" etc etc. Nothing.

I suggest you get onto your reps and tell CWU management to get their arses in gear - i've heard that Mandie wants the ball rolling by March 2009. You've got the new year period to see how far this proposal goes, and it is only a proposal. I would regard a National Ballot acceptable on this one!

Yes, like the proposal a groom makes in a 'shotgun marriage'.
Seems to me this part-privatisation is going to be steamrollered through, come hell or high water.
I quit the union today. Total waste of money.

Can't we force out Billy Haynes and other union leader and start someone new in. As he is not doing the job we require. We also need to stop funding labour party.

Wouldn't it be nice to stop funding labour and target the cash saved at their rivals campaigns in key marginals :chuckle

I can only assume that you won't except anymore pay rises negotiated by the union from now on...

A bit like the multi-string pay offer we accepted anyway, despite the union negotiating and taking strike action.. :cuppa

Should have stopped funding a long time ago, labour scum don't deserve any money, but Hayes has his own agenda which is why he has been a waste of space for a long time now and why we still fund labour.

No matter how many strings were atached it was still a pay rise, and without the union you won't get another one.

And what about Ian Mcartney "yes we uphold our commitment to maintain public ownership of RM, this is no privatization sell off it is a 50% partnership giveaway"para. :left: :left: :left:
Notice that the Today prg. interview with Crozier today reduced the whole studio team to fits of incredulous giggles. Laughing stock, might be worth a 'listen again' :chuckle
