Hybrid duties

Post by bedfordrl »

We are loosing nights next month and having to change some start times to accommodate the extra inward sorting.

One of the rurals is to become a hybrid duty with the town collection on the end and the duty will be 10.00 hrs until 18.00 hrs.

Now i have pointed out that the 9.00 and 13.00 specials will fail and the answer i got was "the business does not care about that".

Frankly i find this appalling and symptomatic of Royal Mails treatment of customers.

They are taking customers money ,and special delivery does not come cheap, with the "guarantee" that the item will be delivered by a certain time the next day and then letting it be delivered whenever.
What an utter utter s**t service and i am getting to the point where i am finding it embarrassing to be a postman .

If only Royal Mail could remember that the customer is king and give up chasing targets .

Have no fear TNT is here: sound of a flying super hero

Loud thumping noise as super hero lands next to a downcast postie

"Hi there" says this transvestite in an orange suit, in a very manly voice

"I've come to rescue your ailing industry"

"Kiss my ar*e you weirdo" says postie, "We're experts at cocking things up and we don't need your help".

Does this mean we have to deliver orange D2D's for paedophile political parties?
