My vote is for B5 which was a great long, almost a mini-series type programme.

I'll spoil the final episode for you - the valiant posties, cornered in a delivery office by hordes of zombie managers, stun them with the truth and then burn all their rotting coffee soaked unfashionably dressed bodies on a bonfire of DSA mail.

I used to like Blake 7 when I was a kid but seeing a re-run of it a couple of years ago I realised how bad it was

V was a good mini series

Blake 7 was good if you remember that it had a budget of £1.23 plus any money they found down the back of the sofa

plus the ending was great

Ok im being pedantic,but what Battlestar Galactica ?,the cheesy 70's series with Lorne Greene etc,or the best television series of the last 10 years?,(with Edward James Olmos).I know what i think is the better one

The cheesy one - with the really bad scenery - it had a better story. The new one was all flash and no substance.

I'll vote for B5,a great arc of a storyline,good acting and for the time great effects.

For me it is Star Trek, The Next Generation that is. Kirk was a bit of a fascist whereas Picard had all the morals of a saint. The Borg, Q, Cardasians, it had everything. I've started to watch it again on Virgin and it has stood the test of time.
