Me and the missus are on nights this Christmas,(probably for the last time as we are to lose nights by mid Jan) and whilst sorting the mech this morning there was a slight spring in my step as i loaded their frames with the local council magazines
,what timing ? what joy?, i can see the attraction of nights now

Had 2 yorks of parcels this morning, informed the manager that I would only be taking 1 out and I doubt I would even complete that one after doing dropped/timed bags, bulk and my walk, he said 'are you sure you can't complete 2, I don't want you sitting around reading the paper'

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

They've brought this on themselves, after the way most of us have been treated over the year they really expected us just to forget it and work the extra they need over Christmas (next year I can see many casuals being brought into delivery offices just to deal with the work the rest of us leave behind).ad0128 wrote:picked up a lot today but tomorow looks awful.....................tons of lightbulbs and some other mailsort packet came in.

I left the office at 8 with nearly 130 packets came back at 2.15 with 3(not including the D/L's of course), got slowed down by Jeremy Vine on R2, I'm sure a couple of the people who sent messages in were those on that Oxford paper website

It was quite bad today but all that means is less for me to do (the look of my DOM's face is a picture these days) out at 10 and back in the office at 2.50 to allow for paperwork and finished at 3pm on the dot
.
BTW it was a rural duty I was on today so that's why the long looking delivery.
