You lucky so and so. We have been hammered by packets for 3 days running at least double the normal and just to top if off we got more bulbs on Monday  . Letters though are quieter than usual.

Had 2 yorks of parcels this morning, informed the manager that I would only be taking 1 out and I doubt I would even complete that one after doing dropped/timed bags, bulk and my walk, he said 'are you sure you can't complete 2, I don't want you sitting around reading the paper' :arrrghhh :silenced :evil/mad
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet

Just keep on walking down never ending streets

They've brought this on themselves, after the way most of us have been treated over the year they really expected us just to forget it and work the extra they need over Christmas (next year I can see many casuals being brought into delivery offices just to deal with the work the rest of us leave behind).

I left the office at 8 with nearly 130 packets came back at 2.15 with 3(not including the D/L's of course), got slowed down by Jeremy Vine on R2, I'm sure a couple of the people who sent messages in were those on that Oxford paper website

Fell over once on the ice and had a few close calls.

Other than that junk mail down, loads of cards and packets.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

It was quite bad today but all that means is less for me to do (the look of my DOM's face is a picture these days) out at 10 and back in the office at 2.50 to allow for paperwork and finished at 3pm on the dot :Very Happy .

BTW it was a rural duty I was on today so that's why the long looking delivery.
