HEREFORD’S Liberal Democrat MP will be visiting the city’s delivery office to see how festive mail is sorted.

Paul Keetch is visiting Royal Mail’s Hereford delivery office today. He will meet Ricky Sault, delivery office manager, and some of the 241 postmen and women who ensure that Hereford’s Christmas mailbag is delivered to more than 44,000 addresses.

The visit will be in time to post any cards and presents for delivery before Christmas, with the last recommended posting date on Saturday December 20 for first class mail.

Ours works out at about 450 per person :shock: (the figures include all staff including reserves and locker room staff).

Maybe we should make this a seperate thread :hmmmm 'How many staff per delivery point'
