I'm not being drawn into that old chestnut again - though I will say that due to the discussion on this forum I have spoken to many long serving posties who without exception say that volumes have gone up - but hey who are we to buck the statistical trend.

I agree with Fozzie that the autumn/Christmas period is no time to be trying new delivery models, if RM would open their minds and talk to us we'd let them know what is achievable and what is not. 2 deliveries in one van is OK provided it is properly planned, the way we have things now is 'just do it and we'll try to sort out the problems later' or as I like to call it 'organisation by trial and error'.

There should be a roadmpa of change and the autumn should be blocked out for things like this, as any slight teething issues (though possibly larger ones in this case) get magnifide due to the increase in volume during this period.

Completely agree Fozzie. Our Pegasus revision has been put back to February/March because of what has happened in Watford/St Albans/Enfield. Our DOM said he would learn from their mistakes and that the new walks would be implemented gradually by postcode e.g. JE1,JE2 etc...
