But hey..dont worry we've got 1 thing to look forward to.........................[center]

Hang on a mo . . . . . "no overtime AND no cutting off" so what you supposed to do if it's one of those shitty old days when you just can't get done in time ?
If they're gonna be like that just work to your 318 and finish on time, there's bugger all they can do about it
Don't just let them crap on you. . . . once they start that, they just can't stop.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I luved Margie !!! Honest...
Well he did have a fuddy duddy way about the old duffer!!! He made me wild made me smile and then made me sad at such a GIT with a Orribal attitude could live so long with out being stoved in??? But sad that he lived his life so bitter that he needed to preach of how good he done and how others couldnt do the job.. Or implied it... He made me shake my head with real sorrow when he fecked off..
As i liked him in a mad way.. Like a sodding crazy uncle that pissed in ya fish tank and killed ya fish or someone who just dont care for anybody else but himself and shows it.. But i bet he is sitting there now feeding the seagulls Rat poison down in Margit!!!

Funny you should say that Trojan
If each individual decides not to do overtime, not to take short cuts, not to start early etc. in other words to do the job as it should be done, then that's not industrial action it's just a conscientious work force. And therefore something the screws should be encouraging

Beginning to kick off down my way, dumb, sorry dom wants whole office on six o'clock starts by mid July and half the S.A.'s made into part time jobs which will ensure a riot among the guys and girls with families to support that do them. Have a good rep and committee tho' sure they will do their best to give them hell.

closer inspection of that demand by your dum ( i like that ) will show that he actually wants some of your office on 5 o'clock most on 6 o'clock some on 6.30 and the rest on 7 o'clock starts. The screws can't cope with who should be where when we all start at the same time they don't stand a chance with this arrangement.
Poke your stupid ideas mr dom we'll wait for a national agreement.

bridgewater office is going on strike this weekend for exactly this thing when it happened to them, apparently 22 other Bristol area offices are waiting to do the same.
This could end up a whole new and seperate national action at this rate, push for the same in your office I know I will as soon as I can.
we must protect ourselves and our colleagues, up the revolution brother
