Hello
Spot on post Saj.
I was the same, on 20 then moved to 25, then 32.5. I don't think RM plan to be giving anyone 40 hours contracts anymore.
That sounds familar Jevster, a lot of PTers daren't stand up to the bosses and cut off or just don't understand that they can actually do it and think they have to work the OT and finish the round.
One solution is to work your contracted hours and do your job properly, it is starting to get through at my office, though it's a question of being able to afford it.

Hey Darth
Why is the Dutch model so appealing for RM to follow a similar structure and workforce ?

the dutch model is a non unionised work force the employees are similar to housewives who deliver club catalogue goods and literally deliver a street .the whole process is mechanised but the terrain of the netherlands and the uk is logistically different.centralised mail centres which royal want.earnings wise i believe they earn less than a uk postie.very low ratio of f/t to p/t.
