Yes you are correct Wolfe, but my reply was based on the original case, which was not an aod, but I have been told that RM are starting to remove warnings if the paper work is wrong or the correct procedure is not being followed, previously this was not the case, there seems to be a lot of pressure from Branch's to get RM to stick to the spirit of the Attendance code.

TBH I think you've been lucky to survive 2 stage 3s in the present climate I would have expected the heave ho and fight it out on a tribunal, hoping they would get away with it which they usually do of course.

I think there's a tick box re H&B issues - however ! - RM with the very public problems that they've had in the past and the way they like to project this Utopian Image

would like all that swept under the carpet .
Sounds like RM don't want stuff to come out in a Tribunal and/or someone's been overruled - but there's always the "see if we can get away with it" element too elsewhere

I posted this in Blue Shirts before so I've moved it

I have finally have the date for my Stage 3 interview, its next week but my rep wants to try and schedule it for tomorrow morning. I returned to work on 30/08/08 after 23 days abscence and they've only just decided to deal with it. I phoned CWU HQ just now to see if there is a time limit on issuing it, apparently there is'nt. I was also finally given the ATOS report today dated Sept 08 which states my Depression 'was described at least in part, as work related', by the time I finished reading the letter I had gone from female to a male, bit worrying when Atos can't work out the anatomy
So what do you reckon, will I be a goner?, after xmas of course!

they ( ATOS ) are famous for errors - looks very shoddy & amateurish - used in the right way IF this has to go outside the Post Office - might be something to use against RM - sounds like a*se covering - the depression bit - for RM's benefit ?

good luck madelin4 in your stage 3, however hope times have change because when I was sacked from royal mail many moons ago and was relocated to another office after i won my case at industrial tribunal, you can imagine I had a bit of time off for depression once reinstated and was still given a stage warning when i finally returned to work...GOOD LUCK..

Had my Stage 3 this morning, the good news is the DOM has reverted it back to a Stage 2, the Stage 2 will run from the date I returned to work in August and not today, so that means I am already 3 months into the Stage. I must admit this DOM seems ok, some of them we've had in the past would've sacked me after the first Stage 3, even though my illnesses have been unavoidable. So today I am totally relieved

Some welcome good news and all the best good of the DOM though and i hope this is the case in any future case's for all of us!. Once again a big happy outcome.
