Whats the problem
I have been taken off the list twice now by someone who is obviously very discriminating, and with no explanation.
its a simple question and no disrespect to any employees, and privacy and discretion will be respected at all times.
all I am trying to ask is : if there are any gay or bi mail men in west sussex area ? inc parcel force etc..

Whats the problem
If you have been removed by the moderators or admin it is probably because your post was innapropriate. These forums are essentially for postal related issues. Other interests generally have more appropriate forums available on the net. If you are trying to contact or make friends with people with the same sexual orientation as yourself you may be much more successful in a group designed for them and moderated by people in that group, and from there pose the question "are any of you postmen in a certain area?"
There is a danger even in relatively civilised forums such as this that your question may subject you to unwarranted coarse humour or ridicule despite our more enlightened society and the removal of your enquiry may well have been to protect you from this.
Whilst I have gay, lesbian and one bi colleague in the office where I work, I am not aware of them having connections on an organised basis throughout Royal Mail but all are openly and happily honest about their sexuality and are respected by their colleagues simply because they are good people.

Perhaps the moderator is aware that some postmen who have been in post since before the Sexual Offences Act was passed in 1967 might be offended by discussion of such matters.CBR600 wrote:I have been taken off the list twice now by someone who is obviously very discriminating, and with no explanation.

Well thank you for a respectable reply, I realise the nature of my question and kept my enquiry simple and not offensive, I have seen other messages on here relating to goings on between postmen and house wives and so assumed matters of a sexual nature were occasionally mentioned and these still brought in tickle tackle from other readers only to be expected I suppose. thank you for your concern regarding my protection from disrespectful jokers but I am ok with this I assure you.
Blokes will always be blokes. cheers and have a good day.

Whats the problem
Yes, but regarding the "goings on between postmen and house wives" many on here don't treat "thou shallt not commit adultery" as seriously as "man shall not lie with another man for it is an abomination".CBR600 wrote:Well thank you for a respectable reply, I realise the nature of my question and kept my enquiry simple and not offensive, I have seen other messages on here relating to goings on between postmen and house wives and so assumed matters of a sexual nature were occasionally mentioned and these still brought in tickle tackle from other readers only to be expected I suppose. thank you for your concern regarding my protection from disrespectful jokers but I am ok with this I assure you.

So realy you are just making a mockery of the bible ! Though shall not commit adultery is one of the ten commandments. and you are saying breaking it is not as serious as, not laying with another man , so what you are infact saying is to interpret the bible acording to your own rules, to suit yourself ! God bless you.

I may well be a sinner but I have not committed adultery and would neither lie with another man nor lie with the beasts of the field.

Sir thank you for your reply, and with no disrespect to you or your beliefs, I to have never committed adultery, nor have i lay with the beasts of the field. We are all sinners in some way and its how we deal with our sins that matters. some people feel no guilt or remorse for their sins and seek no forgivness. while others spend their lives pleading for it. I believe myself to be a worthy human being, caring and compassionate, I spent 12 years in the London ambulance service and believe me that takes a lot of courage and compassion to do. I have never, nor would I deliberately hurt my fellow man (or woman) and I have a good heart and would go far beyond reason to bring an ounce of kindness to anyone. if my only sin is to bring joy and comfort to a fellow man, who is seeking the same , and as long as we both truly beleive in the goodness of our actions and do not try to impose our sin or seek justification for what we do from others, then I will take my chance and stand in front of god on judgment day and put my case to him, he himself said to love thy fellow man, and if what I seek is truely love and not lust then I believe god will give me compassion. thank you and enjoy your day.

Th Bible can be interpreted in many ways but it is questionable whether "to love thy fellow man" was meant to be interpreted as to have carnal knowledge of thy fellow man.CBR600 wrote:Sir thank you for your reply, and with no disrespect to you or your beliefs, I to have never committed adultery, nor have i lay with the beasts of the field.
