Help! Can someone please tell me how long you can receive the royal mail dog attack compensation payment for. I have been off work for 13 weeks and they have stopped this payment. I am still off sick and know you do not receive this payment at Xmas, summer pressure or if you have a holiday even though you are still off sick. I just want to know do you receive this payment until you return to work! Many thanks.

Never heard of it and if it does exist then I'd like to know more about it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Sure the limit is set at 13 weeks for receiving compensation.

Got no sympathy for you. We all have problems with dogs but just get on with life.
Have you considered unpaid leave, reduced hours, inside duties for a short period, gone sick for a few weeks, paid a colleague to do half his round 2 or 3 times a week, seeing the welfare officer and explained the situation . :Applause
