Do we have a right to complain?

thats what does it for me :chuckle
you do get that " You're being negative ' from Management - nothing to do with fragile but huge egos and being too dogmatic to accept any criticism or having a negative autocratic management style in the first place of course :left:

We used to work for a once great public service - not as well paid as it is now, but we did our job well and as far as postal services were concerned, RM was the envy of the World. We moaned then, but the service and the job was generally good, if not the pay. We had the usual issues with the gaffers, but we lived with it. We had a decent pension scheme.

Now we offer an appauling service, with no consideration for customers (sending or receiving) so that we can make some parasites a bonus, in an atmosphere of no morale. The numpties in charge have bled the pension scheme and it's supposed beneficiaries. We've paid in for years only to be s**t on. We are run by liars. We have precious little to be proud of and nothing to be inspired by. The service we provide is embarassingly poor compared to how we have served customers in years gone by. Competitors laugh at us.

I could go on but will stop there.
This is so true, but I am afraid it is true of this countries businesses as a whole. The likes of Crozier and Leighton are typical of senior management today. They only know how to weald the axe, it is their speciality, they are skilled in nothing else. They do not care for service it doesn t affect them. Crozier spends no more than 2-3 hours a year in the public arena because he would be lambasted every time. Crozier f****d up the FA and Wembley, Leighton cut up ASDA and made a mint. I hear now that the FA have been left with a £1.5 million black hole a year because Crozier f****d up the lease in Soho square. A move apparentley that no one wanted from Lancaster gatre. His palacial tastes got the better of him. Ivory towers my friends. :cfo :mfo :lfo

Apparently :cfo had to jump before he was pushed :left: - all this " we regret his/ her resignation " or " to spend more time with the family " stuff makes me laugh - one character reference was " I wouldn't p*** on him if he was on fire " - there was also the " lesson in humility " :left: when he was caught fiddling the sales figures with The Daily Telegraph - he got a pasting from the other Tory papers with the Educating Archie , Ventriloquists' Dummy look- alike story because of his association with The Daily Telegraph .

That Tom ? ex RM Op's Director got him out of that hole with the 92 Spanish Practices story and skivving off home Postman stories - most of the Spanish practices were vague and obscure - 92 versions of the same thing - but that's typical RM , lies , half -truths and distortion .

Crozier got rid of the FA " Blazers " that in principle may have been a good idea as it was a hangover from the 70's & 60's or earlier - but then got his own people in and the wage bill went up 6 times - he was also taken to the cleaners by Sven Goran Errikson over wages with all this - " we must have a foreign coach " stuff

the bit about the move to Soho Square is spot on - nobody has took " Private Eye " magazine to court over it - and this is the UK - the World Libel Capital !

Had a chat about this today, and was told that the walks have been 'looked at' and some can be done in 5 hrs. That's prepping (throwing up, banding up, weighing, re-directions etc) and the walk itself. Harder walks get some prepping done for them.

 Lets work this out : half hour break, 3.5 hours walk, half hour traveling time (pouching off) that leaves half an hour to fully prep (throwing up, banding up, weighing, re-directions etc) now unless the frame only has about 50 drop points  it is impossible to do. :lfo :cfo

Thats what I said and was told 3.5 hrs walk is maximum. Some walks are less...and it's a 20 min break...

It is NOT a 20 min break for 25hrs contract, your manager (like most) is full of s**t :)

Long and shorts surely do not apply to a 5hr a day contract!
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one
