talking about this today,it sms the 'plan' is to take random P739 packets out or redelivery ????????Sherpas Rule wrote:I take it my office isn't the only one in the country to get these red envelopes for every door on your duty this week? I got one through the door. It's basically a card infroming everyone that the callers will be open later than ususal and that they are doing their best to get all the mail out on time.
Fine, but this includes a bit in which they mention Sunday redeliveries and evening deliveries!
My office struggles for staff Mon - Sat never mind Sundays! As for the evening part, I guess that'll mean the people who don't cut off and are going out with about 20 bags?
Or are they just prepping us for the future?
so someonecould come for1 a packet and it not be on the shelves and you wouldnt know if its on redelivery or not!!!
wnt matter,we'l be so snowed under with undelivered packets the redelivery plan will soon fade away

We were told last week that they were coming in and that we had three days to deliver them!
Out union rep negotiated a week.
They didn't arrive on Monday as planned, they turned up today.
Management said that we had until Saturday to deliver them!
Union rep said no a week is a week so Monday will be last delivery date.
Management relented!

Yes they were all First Class so had to go! I was on the 'posh' walk on my float and therefore had around a dozen of the beasts in each pouch many had two per delivery point!Ricky Bruch wrote:Any of you lot get hit with thopse over weight HBOS A4`s today?

We have been delivering those cards today. The weird thing is our DOM was just saying the day before that we weren't doing extended callers hours or evening packet redelivery in our office

Cut off yesterday and today...prob again 2mo.
Loads HBOS A4s cut my bags ups so it took extra time going to and from the bag drop.
Far too much mail for 3.5 hours at the moment. Getting out 40 mins late...cant work past 2pm so cutting off is the only option.
Loads of twats not taking their breaks and throwing off red cards + d2ds when they come back through fear of not getting out on time.
