My thanks to readers Eric and Margaret Noble who write to tell me of their despair over the Royal Mail's decision to feature Little Britain characters on Christmas stamps.
Not terribly Christian, I agree. But it could have been worse. Think Russell Brand. Or Graham Norton.
It transpires the Nobles aren't alone. Royal Mail reveals complaints are so high they've reissued last year's Madonna and Child stamps, though you may need to identify yourself as a Christian to get them. "Would that be Our Lady you wanted sir, or Our Laydees?"
